Visitors to Rick's Cafe typically come from the many all inclusive resorts in Negril. Each resort seems to offer a booze cruise or shopping trips that end with a sunset at Rick's Cafe. Because of this you may hear people bitch that its a tourist trap. Speaking as a trapped tourist I'd have to disagree. Sure the prices aren't cheap and they have t-shirts to sell but they also offer a great facility with plenty to see and do. No cover charge to boot. In a nutshell you can kick back with a beer, listen to reggae music or if you wish eat a formal dinner. Of course you'll want to watch people jump from the cliff and even give it a go yourself. If that bores you check out the locals who will climb another 60 feet up into the trees above the cliff.
Ricks Cafe Update! Rick's Cafe is now open rebuilt and better than ever. Rick's Cafe will become a two story restaurant with a pool and of course more cliff diving from a new jumping platform.
