Just got back last night. I have to say, after reading all the reviews on this site over the past few months, I was pretty nervous about this resort.

Let me say this. GET THERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. It is not cheap, but if you are searching for a place that you and your girlffriend, boyfriend, husband or wife can go and be totally relaxed. Go. Buy a plane ticket right now and go. I loved everything about this place. Even the bartenders who some say have an attitude. All you have to do is talk to them, and joke around, and the "attitude" you will find was never there. The food? If you are serious about food and service, and want the best of the best, you wont find it at Sandals. But what I did find was that Sandals Negril was a canvas for my girlfriend and I. We were in charge of the experience we had. If you go to this resort wanting to have a great time, you will. If you go to this resort wanting to spend a very romantic time with someone special, you will. If you want Johnny Walker Black, all you can drink, you can have it. If you want Johnny Walker Blue, you wont get it for $500 a night. Yes, we had trouble finding clean towels, we even had trouble getting those damn floaty things to lay on in the water. But it really didnt matter much. We did get towels a few minutes later. We did get a floaty thing a few hours later. Nothing in life is perfect, but this comes pretty close. My girlfriend dropped her napkin at lunch. It fell off the table. A waiter RAN to our table and picked up her napkin almost before it hit the ground. No worries. There were no worries. I have 2 loves now. My fiance and Sandals Negril. Seriously. Go.
