Parasailing at Sandals Negril All Inclusive Resort Negril Jamaica
Sandals Negril does not offer
Para-Sailing but for $40.00 the locals will take you on a great ride. Its
a very sedate trip, I wouldn't consider it any kind of extreme sport. You
simply step into the harness. Sit on the platform and they slowly let you
rise as the wind takes your parachute. The ride is about 10-15 minutes
long and goes at least 100ft high. It may be higher, i'm a bad judge.
When they bring you down its a slow ride as they reel you in. You end up
sitting back down on the platform a very soft landing. To get a ride, hang
out on the beach and look for the boat to drive by the resort. Then just
start waving your arms. I believe they are called Sky Time. You get
picked up in a small boat and brought out to the parasailing boat. If you
have a good ride, i'd recommend tipping them. Be sure to bring a camera
but make sure it has a strap.
