Restaurants at Sandals Dunns River Restaurants at Sandals Dunns River resort tend to be fancy, full-service as opposed to buffet or casual dining.  Because of this you'll find that long pants are required at Kimono's, The International restaurant, and according to the sign, Restaurant D'Amore.  When I'm on vacation I want to relax and not dress up so I found this a bit annoying.  Since Ristorante D'Amore was allowing me in with dress shorts we ate there exclusively.  You won't be disappointed with the food or service at this restaurant.  I'd recommend the fettuccini alfredo or the sirloin steak and garlic mashed potatoes.  I liked how they always kept your drink full.  At Sandals Dunns River they even bring your food to you at the Beach Grill which is fast food style.  My favorite resort Sandals Negril isn't like this at all.  This is why I feel each Sandals resort is catering to a different type of traveler.  Barry, Lemon and Devur are top notch waiters and made sure every need was met.  They also wait for breakfast at the Terrace so your in good hands with them.
This was our favorite restaurant at Sandals Dunns River Ristorante D'Amore had the best food and wait staff.  Once the power went out and the waiters held their cell phones over the tables so we could eat with light.  Talk about a classy Sandals resortt.	Me with Lemon and Devur, these guys are the best Sandals employee's i've met to date.  We ate at Ristorante D'Amore most nights just to hang out with these guys.
Bars at Sandals Dunns River The bars at Sandals Dunns River resort are large and very unique.  One called the "Tree Bar" has a tree growing right up the middle of the bar.  The piano bar is very elegant and is surrounded by the massive pools at Sandals Dunns River.  If you are the type that like swim up bars then this is the place for you.  Most Sandals resorts have one or two swim up bars.  There are at least three maybe four if you count opposite sides as a bar.  At many Sandals resorts you might find all the stools full.  At Sandals Dunns River resort there are plenty of swim up bar stools and you can choose to sit at the main bar or pool bar.  Because all of their pool bars have seating for swim up or non you can freely chat with other guests who are not in the pool.  This is a nice feature vs other Sandals resorts.
